Creation Genesis 1-2
Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
- First Day - Genesis 1:2-5
God created the Light or the light became visible.
- Second Day - Genesis 1:6-8
God created the Firmament or a seperation of the chaotic mixture of atmospheric
waters from the terrestrial waters.
- Third Day - Genesis 1:9-13
God created the Land, Sea, Vegetation or landmasses appear suitable for
vegetation of all kinds.
- Fourth Day - Genesis 1:14-19
God created the Sun, Moon, and Stars or the sun was now able to fulfill its
purpose as the earth's source of heat and subsequently seasons ensued.
- Fifth Day - Genesis 1:20-23
God created the Sea Life and Birds.
- Sixth Day - Genesis 1:24-31
God created the Animals and Man.
- Seventh Day - Genesis 2:1-3
God rested, giving us our Sabbath or Day of Rest.

The Garden of Eden - Genesis 2:8-20
- Eden means "delight".
- God placed all the animals here and Adam named them.
God Made Woman - Genesis 2:21-22
- God said, "It is not good for man to be alone." - Genesis 2:18
- So He made him a partner which he called woman.
The Fall - Genesis 3
- God told Adam and Eve not to eat the fruit of one of the trees in the garden.
- The Devil tempted Eve and she and Adam ate the fruit.
- God communicated with them every day, but that day He couldn't find them
because they had hid.
- When they ate of the tree they realized they were naked and so they hid from
God.
- When God found them Adam blamed Eve, He said "it was woman you gave me, who made me do it."
- God did not accept Adam's answer and kicked them out of the Garden of Eden.
Cain and Abel - Genesis 4
- Adam and Eve had 2 sons.
- Cain was a farmer and Abel was a sheperd.
- When they brought their sacrifice to God, Cain brought vegetables and Able brought a lamb.
- God accepted Abel's offering and rejected Cain's.
- Cain got angry and killed Abel.
The Oldest Man - Genesis 5
- Genealogies were important to the Hebrews.
- Adam had a son Seth who replaced Abel.
- Adam was 930, Seth was 912, Enos was 905, Cainan was 910, Mahalaleel was 895, Jared was 962, Enoch was not (Genesis 5:24), Methuselah was 969, Lamech was 777, Noah was 500 and his 3 sons were Shem, Ham and Japeth.
The Flood - Genesis 6-9
- Noah built the ark.
- Noah and his wife.
- His 3 sons: Shem, Ham and Japeth and their wives.
- Rained 40 days and 40 nights.
- The ark landed on Mount Ararat.
- God set a rainbow in the sky as a reminder of the flood.
Nations - Genesis 11:1-9
- Everone on earth spoke the same language.
- They were all staying in the same place and they built a city and a tower.
- God confounded the language so that they would spread out and populate the earth.
- They called it the tower of babel, meaning confusion.
- So when we say "What are you babbling about?"
- You know it came from the tower of babel.
